About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Concierge Security Officer Supervisor for a site in Baltimore, Maryland. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., totaling 16 hours per week, and pays $22.50 per hour. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The officer welcomes and assists visitors, manages access control, conducts patrols, monitors security equipment, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and offers career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license or be able to obtain one.
• Have at least 2 years of supervisor experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
