About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Crime Prevention Security Officer in South Bend, Indiana. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a secure environment. The role includes routine rounds, observing and reporting security concerns, responding to situations as needed, and providing customer service. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $18.20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that apply before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting suspicious activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
