About The Position

Serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Port Isabel, Texas. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Provide customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and respond to security concerns with integrity. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Tuesday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, Wednesday 5:00 AM–1:00 PM, and Saturday 5:00 AM–1:00 PM. Pay is $13.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established protocols, and escalate concerns as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately according to site procedures.
