About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Fire Prevention to serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The role is scheduled Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Provide customer service and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.
