About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer and Fire Prevention Driver for a manufacturing and industrial location in Three Rivers, Michigan. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service and communication. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. Previous firefighting experience is required. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.86 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
Previous firefighting experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and shift information.
