About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed driving Security Officer in Boise, Idaho. The role supports a technology, media, and telecommunications location by conducting visible patrols, monitoring access, helping deter security-related incidents, supporting badge and access-control activities, responding to concerns, and providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Supervisory experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, construction areas, business spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and escalate concerns according to site-specific procedures.
