About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a retail distribution location in Greenville, South Carolina. The officer will safeguard the site and support clients, visitors, drivers, and associates through routine patrols, access control, incident response, and customer service. This is a driving position, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., at $16.15 per hour. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required under Allied Universal driver policy for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates while following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
Monitor site access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
