About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Patrol Site Condition Assessment Security Officer in Sterling, Virginia, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct patrols, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and guests. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $21.53 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Report observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
