Security Officer Full Time Distribution Warehouse
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer at a distribution warehouse in Hopewell Junction, New York. In this unarmed patrol role at a technology-focused location, the officer helps safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by conducting patrols, supporting access control and badge processes, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service. The role uses computer or tablet systems and contributes to a professional, welcoming environment. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.73 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and help direct authorized personnel and guests.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
