About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a logistics and distribution location. The officer will serve and safeguard employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and providing customer service. The role follows site-specific policies and security procedures and may involve emergency response activities. The posted schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
