About The Position

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Security Officers to help protect facilities and maintain a safe environment. Officers monitor and patrol by vehicle or on foot, check doors, windows, and gates, address suspicious or prohibited conduct, report facility issues, and request emergency personnel for high-risk situations. The listed schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. A flex-officer schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, with availability required during the day; officers may be assigned opening or closing duties. Compensation is $21 per hour. This is a part-time position with two openings and reports to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate integrity, communication, excellent service, and accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process and background investigation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• For the flex-officer schedule, must be available during the day; may be assigned opening or closing duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol by vehicle or on foot to prevent theft, violence, or violations of rules.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they function properly and are secure.
• Warn violators about premises rules and regulations.
• Address people engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
