About The Position

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an experienced Security Officer to help protect premises and support a safe environment. The role involves monitoring the premises, checking doors, windows, and gates, addressing rule violations and suspicious or criminal activity, reporting facility issues, and requesting emergency personnel in high-risk situations. The position is part-time, third shift, and weekends: Friday and Saturday, 11:30 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Compensation is $19 per hour. The employer provides necessary training and free uniforms.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Familiarity with security equipment.
Ability to handle the physical workload.
Must participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Security Officer is sought.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or violations of rules.
Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they function properly and are secure.
Warn violators about premises rules and regulations.
Address people engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
Report facility issues.
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
