About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer to serve at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security concerns. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $16.39 per hour. Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and delivery traffic; verify authorized entry according to site procedures; and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations, following site procedures and documenting observations.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and visitor or vehicle records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
