About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time enhanced unarmed Security Officer for an assigned logistics and distribution location in San Antonio, Texas. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may be available across multiple sites, allowing employees to increase their hours up to 40 per week or scale back as needed. The stated pay rate is $15.24 per hour. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entrances, trailers, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers according to site-specific procedures.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
