About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the property by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, identifying and reporting unusual conditions, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.84 per hour. The role involves following site-specific policies and security procedures, monitoring access, responding to incidents and alarms, and preparing accurate reports. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures; report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
