About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a hotel and resort location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role serves and safeguards guests, employees, visitors, and the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, helping deter incidents, responding to concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment through professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and customer service. The position pays $27.33 per hour and requires at least one year of security-related experience. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally, communicating with hotel leadership and emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports and keep supervisors informed about observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
