About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for access point monitoring at a logistics and distribution location in Mabelvale, Arkansas. The role helps safeguard the site by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and maintaining a visible security presence. The officer communicates professionally with drivers, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. The position pays $15.24 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control facility access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and perimeter access points; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and dock areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
