About The Position

The Security Officer will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role focuses on access monitoring and helping maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials and authorization, managing visitor access, and communicating professionally with employees, drivers, and guests. The officer remains visible, responds to security-related concerns, and helps deter incidents through attentive access control. This is a part-time position scheduled Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.23 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate facility areas.
Observe entry and exit activity, report irregularities, and follow established escalation procedures to help deter unauthorized access.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.
