About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for access point monitoring at a manufacturing and industrial location in Ingleside, Texas. The officer will help safeguard employees, contractors, visitors, and guests by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. The position is scheduled for overnight shifts on Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at a rate of $16.50 per hour. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A TSA-issued TWIC.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Report unusual activity, damaged access-control equipment, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
