About The Position

As a full-time Access Control Officer at a retail location in Little Rock, Arkansas, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service to visitors and staff, support a welcoming environment, and follow site-specific policies and established security procedures. The position is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and pays $14.75 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established security procedures, and report observations to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Accurately document access-control activities, incidents, and irregularities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
