About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Interior Patrol in Belleville, Michigan, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and help support a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
