About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Berkeley, Missouri, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role also supports access control, responds to alarms, and provides customer service and clear communication. The position is full time and pays $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control and badges.
Experience with alarm panels.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, contractors, and drivers according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation according to company and site requirements.
