About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Elyria, Ohio. The role monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, responds to incidents, conducts patrols, controls access, and helps protect people and property. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. The hourly wage is $17.88. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
