About The Position
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Badge Verification in Mahopac, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients at an educational location. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide customer service. The work environment and conditions may vary by client site. The position is full-time and pays $22.12–$23.12 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.

- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Support access control and communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors.
