About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for an assigned site in Atlanta, Georgia. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule and requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week while retaining flexibility to scale back. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols of government buildings, offices, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters; monitoring access points; observing and reporting unusual activity; responding professionally to incidents; and completing accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs.

Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, offices, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe and report unusual activity, maintaining awareness of people entering and exiting the location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs accurately and according to site requirements.
