About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. The unarmed officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and operations. The role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, integrity, and responding appropriately to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and pays $21.15 per hour. Employment is subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Applicable licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and local rules.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs concerning patrols, incidents, access activity, and unusual occurrences.
