About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Spokane, Washington. The officer will safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, and communication. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $21.85 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
