About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Officers respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.17 per hour, paid weekly, and requires open availability for any shift.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
• Have open availability for any shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
