About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a shipping facility. The role serves and safeguards clients in a range of industries by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.17 per hour, paid weekly, and requires open availability for any shift and six months of security experience.

Requirements

• Six months of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be available for any shift.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
