About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a shipping facility. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use a problem-solving approach. The work includes regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19.17 per hour, paid weekly, and requires open availability for any shift.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Six months of security experience.
• A valid driver's license held for at least one year; a driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Open availability for any shift.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
