About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for a driving post in Lakeland, Florida. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens, identifying suspicious activity and potential threats, documenting incidents, responding to concerns, patrolling the premises, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The posting lists both part-time and full-time schedules: Tuesday–Wednesday, 10 p.m.–6 a.m. (16 hours per week), or Monday–Friday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. (40 hours per week). The wage is $17.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a Florida Class D Security License.
• Be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, because this is a driving post.
