About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Pasco, Washington, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. A professional presence, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. The role is full time and pays $21.85 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, delivery drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas using established equipment and procedures, and report prohibited or suspicious items according to site protocols.
Verify identification, credentials, and access authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas, escalating discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
