About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturer building access-control assignment in Tustin, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a life sciences location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to routine concerns, and provide customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
