About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for building access control at a dynamic automotive location in Santa Ana, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. The role involves responding professionally to routine concerns and handling incidents calmly. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas and exterior locations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Support access control activities and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
