About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a financial institution in Westlake, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. The role requires professional communication with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders, and responding to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday and Thursday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, and pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs.
• Maintain a professional presence in a corporate financial-services environment.
