About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Readiness in Atlanta, Georgia, serving a financial institution. The officer will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The role involves responding to incidents, communicating professionally, and delivering customer service. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $24.16 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification.
• An armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of business areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
