About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Readiness in South Bend, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report unusual activity. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

This is a full-time unarmed patrol position paying $18.20 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and report unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly with team members and visitors and support a welcoming environment.
