About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Readiness in Riverside, California. The position offers a fixed weekly assignment at a designated site, with a six-month commitment to the assigned “anchor” shifts. Employees may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, providing the option to increase hours and work at multiple sites. The role may offer up to 40 hours per week when additional shifts are available, with flexibility to scale back. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

The Security Officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
