About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Greensboro, North Carolina, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and facilities. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role also involves responding to incidents and emergencies, following site-specific procedures, and reporting activity to site leadership, healthcare personnel, and Allied Universal management.

The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access-control procedures according to site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site leadership, healthcare personnel, and Allied Universal management about incidents and daily activities.
