About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a utilities location in Coral Gables, Florida. The officer will safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting reliable operations. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
