About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting visitors, tenants, and employees. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, respond to concerns and incidents, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating teamwork and integrity. The listed schedule is Monday and Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. The pay rate is $27.90 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, contractors, and client representatives while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking facilities, exterior spaces, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and maintain awareness of authorized use of the location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and responding public-service personnel.
