About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer supporting a financial institution in Balch Springs, Texas, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, and clients. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The role calls for a caring, integrity-driven approach and collaboration with a reliable team to help maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay rate is $20.09 per hour. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Monitor assigned areas and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.
