About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for patrol preparedness at an assigned technology-focused site in Bristol, Indiana. This part-time role has a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The position pays $17.75 per hour.

The scheduled shift is Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The officer provides customer service, performs foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitors access activity, responds to incidents and alarms, and documents activity in accordance with site and company procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access activity and follow visitor management procedures, remaining aware of authorized entry requirements for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response protocols and promptly reporting observations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
