About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Preparedness in Georgetown, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service to employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. The position is full-time and pays $17.63 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
