About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will maintain a visible security presence, conduct armed patrols, support access control, respond to concerns and emergencies, document activities, and provide customer service and communication. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.16 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by following site-specific procedures, access-control measures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct visitors according to site policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company policies, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
