Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard clients, visitors, patients, and staff by patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. The role requires responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to established healthcare protocols, and documenting and communicating relevant observations and shift activities. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The schedule is daytime, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Customer service experience.
- Access control and badge experience.
- A guard card or license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following healthcare location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as required, and report unusual conditions or access issues to site leadership.
- Complete accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives about incidents, observations, and shift activities.
