About The Position

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in Hainesport, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, clear communication, integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care. This is a full-time, unarmed patrol position paying $18.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and drug screen, as applicable under law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities at a logistics location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and solution-oriented manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry according to site procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
