Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Assessment
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Concord, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff. The position pays $22.25 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role includes following site-specific security procedures and policies, monitoring access, documenting activity, and responding to incidents and alarms according to established procedures. Employees can use the company’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
- Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed.
- Maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-related documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and property management to help maintain an orderly environment.
