About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Arlington, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly shift as a dependable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, offering flexibility to increase hours and work toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The position pays $14.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 5:00 PM–11:00 PM. The role involves providing customer service and security support, responding to incidents, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and activity, and accurately documenting observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage operations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe delivery, vendor, and employee activity to help maintain orderly site operations and deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
