About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Southlake, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The position is intended for candidates seeking part-time work with reliable hours and the flexibility to increase their schedule, potentially up to 40 hours per week.

The officer will provide security and customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Duties include following site procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, patrolling designated areas, monitoring access and activity, and preparing reports. The listed rate is $19.66 per hour. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and designated areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and employee traffic according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate security observations, incidents, and shift information to appropriate personnel.
